The Vancouver Convention Centre is recognized for its
unique aesthetic approach. The interior walls, created by
Morinwood, Inc., were assembled with 6,000 planks of
sustainable BC hemlock, and were stacked by a Kuka robotic
arm a first for the B.C. woodworking industry.
Morinwood Project Manager Tom Morin is featured in a new video posted by the Convention Centre, as he discusses the process of putting together these innovative and awe-inspiring interior walls for the convention centre. The space has been awarded the GO GREEN certificate from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for industry-approved, environmental best practices in building management.
